Our Third Saturday Thrift Shop sales are a vital resource for raising mission funds and a wonderful opportunity for our church and community to browse through thousands of gently used items. Do you have gently-used items you’d like to donate? We’d love for you to join us in support of this mission opportunity!
This unique group meets every other Tuesday through June 11th with two identical sessions each time. Nosh on homemade Jewish baked goods while listening to news updates from Israel, the Jewish world, and Jewish Gospel ministry. Rev. Roger L. Wambold will also be presenting views of the Old Testament scriptures and their relevance for us today and in the future!
Central is blessed for this renovation and revitalization of our building. We have much to be thankful for and much to be in prayer over. Let’s praise God for all he will do through this building.
Five years ago, our congregation decided to undertake a transformative project to ensure that our church building would support our missions both today and in the future. The R4 project was “built on the foundation” laid 70+ years ago by our church’s founders, who sought a way to create not just a house of worship but a center for community life.
Mark your calendar to celebrate the completion of those renovations during Dedication Weekend, May 3rd through 5th!
In the summer, the Congregational Institute at Central Schwenkfelder Church is offering a special one week class on early church history from June 3-7.
Come join the fun! Our 10th annual Yard & Bake Sale is coming up. Call the church office to reserve a space.
