Requesting Desktop Site from Mobile Device

With today’s technology, this web site supports mobile devices and a condensed theme of the web site and postings to aid smaller browsers.    However, some may wish to request the desktop site.  That really is a function of the browser you are using your mobile device. So, below are some helpful tips.

For Apple Products using Safari Browser.

  1. Tap and hold the Refresh button in the URL bar.
  2. Tap Request Desktop Site.
  3. The website will then reload as its desktop version

For Chrome, Android Devices:

  1. Tap the Menu button (either below the screen on some devices or at the top-right corner of the browser) sometimes shown as “menu”  or  |||  or  the : (3 Dots)  usually located in the top right corner of your screen.
  2. Select the Request Desktop Site checkbox under that selection.

Typically, to request a Desktop Version of a site from a Mobile Device, that request is a button in a menu item of the browser you are using on the mobile device.   If you can not find it, try Google or Bing the name of the browser you are using with the words “Request Desktop Site” and it will provide further instructions to use.
