The Triune God – glorifying and worshiping the Father as Creator and King, Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and the Holy Spirit as Sustainer and Empowerer. He is the center of all that we do, providing purpose for our time, talents, and treasure…to extend His Kingdom.
The Bible – honoring the written Word of God, the ultimate authority in our individual lives and in the life of Central Schwenkfelder Church.
Mission and Service – spreading the good news of God’s salvation and love in Jesus Christ through outreach to others both locally and globally.
Christian Education – studying the Bible to gain knowledge and understanding about the past, present, and future, in order to foster our life-long spiritual growth through faith in Jesus Christ.
Unity in the Christian Essentials – embracing the historic agreements* of the Christian Church. God’s love is manifested through His church by way of unity and harmony among believers.
* These agreements are found in the Apostles’ and Nicene Creeds as well as the Chalcedonian Statement.
Our Mission is to…
Love God – Matthew 22: 37-38 Jesus replied: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.”
Serve Others – Galatians 5: 13-14 “You my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge in sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love. The entire law is summed up in a single command: Love your neighbor as yourself.”
Grow Disciples – Matthew 28: 18-20 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples in all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Our Vision is to…
