
National Day of Prayer to be Observed in Worcester
Right Here at Central Schwenkfelder Church!
Local residents of all ages and denominations are invited to join an Outdoor Community Candlelight Prayer Service in Worcester on Thursday, May 5th at 8:00 p.m. The event is hosted by Central Schwenkfelder Church, and will take place on the church's expansive front lawn at 2111 Valley Forge Road. From 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. a time of praise band music, refreshments and community fellowship will be enjoyed as we gather together.
This year, the National Day of Prayer theme is "A Mighty Fortress is our God." This will be a unique opportunity to gather as a community and pray for our nation. Seven different segments of America will be the focus of prayer that evening: Government, Military, Media, Business, Education, Church and Family.
