Van Dyken Update

Posted on Jul 24, 2017 in Outreach

Dear praying friends,

It is with full and thankful hearts that we report that the 100,000 watt Bonaire transmitter went on air last night about 3 a.m. on the new antenna system which we have spent the last three weeks adjusting.  It will now handle the increased power of the 450,000 watt transmitter which, Lord willing, will be installed in January.

It was quite a long struggle these weeks, but we also know that many, many people were praying and God answered those prayers.

See attached photos of Daryl and Tom King, the antenna specialist from Tennessee, and one of the systems they were working with – the black pipe feeds power from the old transmitter to the new antenna system.

More details will come later as we finalize the tuning and do what is needed to ensure the old transmitter works well until the new 450,000 watt transmitter comes.

Thank you so much for all your prayers and support.

Daryl VanDyken
